If you are looking for pottery, ceramic vases, decorater plates and the like then you would not want to miss seeing Dorotheos Bonis Art. As far as I am concern there is no other exellence of ceramic art in Rhodes. His shop is located in Afandou on the road leading to Lindos.

Afandou is a fantastic rural, typical Greek village with all the local and traditional trappings. The people are very friendly and warm, which in my case has left an indelible mark of affection that will remain in my heart for the rest of my life. The values, that the local people still regard as important in the 21st century, are the same values we used to cling to, years ago, in the U.K. The atmosphere is warm with a great sense of secureness, ideal for a holiday setting to fully relax and chill out in, and if that wasn't enough, the resort as a wonderful beauty all of it's own. my husband and i have been going to afandou since 2001. we love it dearly, the weather the people are the best in the world.i am always so sad to leave my husband has some consoling to do. if you ever get the chance to go please do you will not be disappointed. it is one of the most beautiful places we have ever been.
