I am lucky; I can visit my own traditional whitewashed house secretly hidden in the quiet, peaceful village of Gennadi. I love that it is a working village with all the important amenities and yet has an understated charm and honest, laid back friendly atmosphere. The local people go about their daily business but still have the time to be of good cheer and help a bemused tourist or two on their way.
