i go back every year i just love it, the locals are so friendly it feels like home when you land, its the most romantic place ive been loveit i will keep going back, i would recommend you give rhodes a visit especially lindos

hi folks,i have been visiting lindos since 2000 with friends to start off with but i now go solo.i have met many people over the years who go at the same time some have become very good friends.i would recommend lindos to anybodyfor a totally chilled out holiday.

We are travelling to Lindos for the 4th time in september. We love it, as soon as you get there you are immediately chilled out. The accomodation is cheap and clean andwe have not yet been disappointed.If you are looking for a fabulous holiday please try Lindos,you won't be disappointed. Last but not least our favourite bar is the Captains bar, we are always welcome and have become friends with the owners and are guaranteed a goodnight. Hope this is of use to all you holiday makers x

Went there for my son's wedding at St Paul's Bay last September. Apart from the XL Crash everything was superb bearing in mind this was my first holiday for 17 years! The local people were so friendly and could not do enough for you. Wherever you went you were made to feel welcome. We had the wedding reception at Ambrosia restaurant in Lindos which, whilst not cheap, was absolutely faboulous. George the owner treats everyone as if his own family. I can recommend it. In faact my ex wife has been going there for thepast 6 years and we are going back this year to celebrate the first wedding anniversary. Lindos is the place for me.

My first experience of Lindos was in 2007,and i loved it.When you come round that corner,the wow corner,and see the acropolis and village before you an amazing sight.I went back in 2008 and have booked for 2009 again ,cant come soon enough.The village is beautiful,the people are so warm and friendly,looking forward to seeing George and his family at the Apollo Bar.

I was lucky enough to live in the town of Lindos for about three months in 2004. I was there during the months of May to August and was awakened every single day (sans air conditioning)by my my body telling me I needed to be in cool water immdiately... Disregarding the heat, the town is absolutely gorgeous and full of friendly, smiling people. If you're looking for a non-tourist spot, however, you should steer clear of Lindos and steer even more clear of Rhodestown, because both places are packed with British tourists in the high season, which made it a little difficult to navigate the narrow streets. I highly recommend going there, though, if you're looking for beautiful scenery, Greek tradition,plenty of sunshine and restaurants/bars full of energy and happy, sunburned people.

May 2007 will be my 12th visit to Lindos, and my partner Karen's 11th. Lindos is our one place in the world where we can just chill and be in such good company of wonderful Greek people.

my husband and I went to lindos for the first time in june 2003 for our honeymoon. We are returning in July 2006 and I am counting the days. Lindos has got to be one of the most beautiful villages in the whole of the greek islands, the people,the food,the roof top restarants views are just perfect bring on July.

Lindos is a beautiful village.We return year after year and have been going there regularly since 1991.We are going in june and sept06.I simply love the place and the peopleand have met some very good friends.The restuarants are excellent and the waiters are all so friendly.

Lindos is probably one of the most beautiful places I've visited anywhere in Greece, I've ben twice and will be going back again next year, perfect times to go are May/June and Sept October, the people are lovely, food excellent with so many wonderful eating places to chose from. The beaches are glorious, clean, clear, warm waters. Its a photographers paradise, and a very romantic place for couples.

We've been to Rhodes four times (fifth next May!). We love Pefkos and stay there every time but have to visit Lindos each time. It's absolutely stunning, especially as you approach it from the direction of Rhodes Town. When you come round the bend and there it is - it takes your breath away. You must go up to the Acropolis - a bit of a hike but well worth it. The village itself with all its cobbled streets is so pretty, and there are loads of good shops, and the shop keepers are all so friendly, not pushy just helpful - as they are throughout Rhodes. Can't wait for next May!

I stayed at Lindos in 2001 or 2002 with my family; it was a beautiful sunny week in the middle of October. Even though the tourist season was coming close to an end, the Greeks were still very courteous and were lovely helpful people. It was just as hot as an English summer, even if it was October. I love Lindos so much, that I am going to live there when I am older. I am nearly 20 years of age, and have all of my life to save money to put towards a home or land in Lindos. I am going to try to buy land to turn into an Organic Olive Farm. If anyone reads this, and you are looking for an ancient and beautiful Greek village to stay in, then Lindos in with no doubt for you!

Having heard mixed reviews on Lindos and the standard of accomodation I have to say we were overjoyed at everything we came across- the restaurants, our apartment, the beaches, the views and most of all the tiny cobbled streets that we never tired of walking around. A must see for everyone!!

Lindos is fantastic, both in architecture, friendliness, beaches, restaurants, and nightlife. Not to hectic, just enough. Roger and I love it so much we have bought a home there. You will not be dissapointed!

Lindos is beautiful, so much so that my husband and I wed there in June 2004 and we will be returning this year. Plenty to see and the scenery is breathtaking, so is the heat! It's the hottest place in Rhodes but is definately a must see. Take a donkey ride up the the Acropolis or relax on the beach. Excellent town.

There are no words to describe this Ancient Village of Lindos. We are never tired of it visiting. Just fantastic
